Reverse Circulation (RC) Drilling in Al Jalamid Phosphate Mine

Reverse Circulation (RC) Drilling in Al Jalamid Phosphate Mine

Al Jalamid mine is located in northern Saudi Arabia, about 137km west of Turaif city. The mine produces close to 11.6 million tonnes per year of ore, and the beneficiation facilities up to 5 million tonnes per year. Maaden has made significant infrastructure investments in Al Jalamid, building a power plant, potable water and communications facilities, and transport networks that make their exploration and production viable.

Maaden Phosphate Company has awarded Al Haytham General Contracting a contract to carry out a grade control drilling program using Reverse Circulation (RC) technique in Al Al Jalamid Phosphate Mine for 20,000 metres. The project is still in progress.
